Week's Summary

Well this week was all about recovery.  I ran the Jackson Hole Marathon on Labor Day weekend in September and I hit up the Monument Marathon a few weeks later.  As I was driving home from beautiful Nebraska, I was just "exhausted".

I've done a lot of racing this year and have logged a lot of miles to boot.  So I sort of listened to my body and made this week pretty light.  I am bouncing back though and every day I feel a bit better.  And when I am not running, I am getting in some walking so that helps me reset.

This coming week I hope to get in a few more miles in before I re-taper once again in preparation for the Duke City Marathon, in Albuquerque New Mexico.  I've been looking forward to this trip for quite some time.

Fall is Coming

Utah has finally broken through the heat wave we've been under all summer.  This week, which started off hot, finally cooled off.  The trees in the valley are finally showing some hints of their leaves changing and it has already snowed a few times up in the mountains.  I love running at this time of year and I hope to be able to share some photos with you soon.
