Week's Summary

This week was primarily recovery.  Having run the Jackson Hole Marathon on Saturday and having done a lot of hiking over the course of last weekend I knew this week was going to be fairly light in terms of overall volume.  Still running nearly 30 miles for the week is pretty good and I managed to get in some quality miles on Saturday and Thursday.

Overall I feel good and don't really have any aches and pains from the marathon.  Although I felt a little bit of a neuroma coming in on my left foot.  Strange, I had this injury back in spring on my right foot.

I do know that I am still technically in recovery mode and will be in the near future, but that shouldn't preclude me from getting in a few extra miles.

Upcoming Races

I am flirting with getting Nebraska knocked off my state's list at the end of the month.  We shall see how I feel and how much moolah I have in the bank.  It is about an eight hour drive, so it is doable for a long weekend.

09/26: Monument Marathon - Gering Nebraska - (thinking about it)
10/18: Duke City Marathon (Probable. Non refundable Hotel is booked for Albuquerque, New Mexico)
11/15: Las Vegas Marathon (definite)
